Once upon a time, long ago, in a galaxy far, far,,,, (No,,, I better not say it. I don't need lawsuits from Disney or Lucasfilm). Anyway, many years ago, a mad Sufi named Shiekh Majnun came to us. He came to make strange, unearthly music, and teach us strange and unearthly ways.

Sheikh Majnun was a student of Sheikh Yerbouti in the Sheikh Rattlnroll Madrasa. He was a man of boundless wisdom tempered by a blatant disregard for reality. In his charities, he never spared! When he worked or fought, he never tired! He was no spare tire. People would stare at him; which made him a stare case. He has 19 wives, many of whom are human.

The Wise Sheikh could not play his music on any earthly instruments. So, he built the Intergalactic Frombone, the Hyperzither, and the Liquid Emfoozulator. He made several recordings which were co-produced by Thaddeus Hecubus.

He toured the world and several places in the solar system. His concerts were the stuff of legend. His concert on Olympus Mons, Mars was considered one of his best. However, his concert on Pluto was a disaster when his Liquid Emfoozulator froze solid before he could start the show. Then there was the merchandise table disaster in the asteroid belt. Trillions of the Sheikh's CDs, t-shirts, posters, flash drives, keychains, and the Official Sheikh Majnun Signature Series Boxer Shorts are orbiting the sun in the vastness of space, with no way to recoup the loss.

Alas,,, commercial success would elude Sheikh Majnun. People were just not ready for his innovative music. His towering genius was incomprehensible to lesser minds. Before his mysterious disappearance in 2008, many people were afraid of him and reacted to his music with fear and psychosis.

But the fear of Sheikh Majnun is the beginning of wisdom. A handful of recordings still exist. As the sole executor of the earthly music of Sheikh Majnun, it is my duty to make it available. Here, enshrined in the digital realm of Bandcamp.com, the final remaining recordings of Sheikh Majnun are yours to hear and purchase.
